NZAP:Feather Fletching for Bowhunting and Target Arrows

As it is impossible to keep all shapes, sizes, and colours in stock, we will match your request as closely as possible. Average length is about 10" but this varies.Use these feathers to make flu-flus and to cut or burn your own fletching for your target and bowhunting arrows. If you want a cool look that is a bit different, it is perfectly OK to use parabolic for the hen fletches and a shield cut for the cock fletch. In the meantime, if you don't have a chopper, we will be glad to chop them for you to any size and shape you desire. NZAP carry a complete selection of Gateway feathers in both the shield and parabolic profiles. Shipping is free on this item to anywhere in New Zealand or Australia if your order is over $100.00. The important thing is to use the same wing on all of your arrows (i.e., don't mix right wing and left wing feathers in a set of arrows) and (as with plastic vanes) always use the smallest fletch that will do the job. The most popular of all the feathers we have in stock are right-wing shield-cut in four and five inch but we also stock a good selection of parabolic colours as well. These are real feathers from real birds. They tweaked the shield-cut shape by lowering the profile and increasing the angle between the quill and the high point in the feather's profile. We carry full-length right-wing only in stock at the moment but we will be adding cut feathers soon if there is a demonstrated demand for them. We get a limited number of calls for left-wing feathers, so our selection of these is not as extensive.
