A Bow workshop and 66 yard archery shooting range are available on the property. Age old migration routes of the Desert Elephant that follows the dry riverbeds scattered with Ana Trees (Winter-thorn Acacia) still exists in the area and if lucky you can catch a glimpse of these elusive Elephants while Bow hunting with us. All animal species available within the hunting area are truly wild African game, ensuring a real challenging hunt of indigenous African species in their natural environment. All field preparations of your trophies are done by fully trained VIERANAS SAFARIS staff. All our permanent pit blinds are custom build from natural materials and spacious with seating and designed for bow hunting. First time and seasoned Bowhunters to Africa, Women Bow Hunters and Family hunting groups are all welcome to experience this intimate African archery hunting adventure. Portable blinds can be set-up on used game trails in ambush. Predators and scavengers such as Cheetah, Leopard, Jackal and Brown Hyaena are common in the area ensuring a natural wildlife eco-system. References and comments of previous hunters are always available, please contact us for details. The hides are located at watering points or salt lick stations with a maximum shot distances with the bow at 30 yards, but most shots are closer than this when the game are relaxed and unaware of the hunter. The Namibian Trophy hunting season runs from February until November every year. We have found the Green Season more favorable for spot and stalk hunting with bow hunting by ambush better in the drier months. Your Bowhunting guide is a bowhunter and understands the needs of bow hunters and will accompany you on every hunt.
